| 2007 Stephens Cup Golf Trip Dates: September 21-23, 2007 -The Match In order to return the golf trip to a “less competitive” and more “fun- focused” event, the following changes are being proposed for the 2007 trip. There will be two teams. Each will have 6 players. The players have been ranked and placed into the matrix. Day 1 groupings follow Group 1: Joe S, Joe R and Chris Group 2: Mark, Doug, Scott, Jack Group 3: Bob, Dad, Tom, Matt Day 2 Group 1: John, Dad, Bob, Matt Group 2: Scott, Chris, Doug, Mark Group 3: Jack, Joe S, Tom, Joe R Day 3 Group 1: Bob, Jack, John, Mark Group 2: Joe S, Dad, Doug, Scott Group 3: Tom, Chris, Matt, Joe R Scoring will be based on the best four scores by team by hole. Total points will be accumulated and the low score wins. The event will be on Saturday and Sunday since John will miss Friday. That's it. No handicapping or matching up players by matches. Every player has a chance to contribute, but less pressure to do well on every hole. Let the side bets begin--let's not wait till you get to the first tee box |
